A PACK

an experimental film by Elsa Kremser & Levin Peter
77min / AT - DE / 2024
A pack of strays – seven dogs and one woman, live in the shadows of the city of Moscow. Hidden from the totalitarian authorities, two species share their existence on the verge of disappearance. They are straying in constant restlessness through a savage landscape where the city is cracking. Shot from the animal’s point of view, patterns of mutual dependence and taming begin to blur.
A pack of strays - dogs and humans, lives in the shadows of the city of Moscow, and is claiming their territory where the city is breaking and reveals a feral landscape. Shot between 2017 until 2020 this film follows the dogs who surround the elderly woman Nadia in her daily fight for survival. Together they are straying through a savaged landscape of Moscow that the totalitarian authorities seem to have forgotten.
